Breakthrough Psychology Darwin: Dr Kerri Thomas

I am an experienced clinical psychologist, married, and mum to two young girls and two poodles. I love the outdoors, travel, and endurance sport, whether that be marathons, ultramarathons, or trekking, but particularly love Ironman events (3.8km swim -> 180km cycle -> 42.2km run).
I went to university for far too many years to obtain a Master of Clinical Psychology and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD). I use an eclectic therapeutic framework but have special interests in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Gottman Method Relationship Therapy.
I have worked in forensic settings, private psychiatric facilities, public mental health settings, universities, organisational psychology, and have been in private practice for over 10 years.
I am registered with the Psychology Board of Australia as well as being a Fellow of the Australian Psychological Society, a member of the Clinical College with the APS, a Certified Gottman Therapist, and a Psychology Board-Approved Supervisor.
